Results For Monday 10-26-2015

Last Monday the Mezza group played Pro-Am points at Golf Hammock CC as we welcomed back some of our "snowbirds."

A flight was won by Jim Gulick at +5 (congrats on shooting even par) and second place went to Don Brewer at +1.

B flight fell to Ned Bauer at +2 and Les Campbell was second with +1.

C flight saw Mike Anselm win with +5 and a 3-way tie for second place at +1 between Dennis Murphy, Paul Doud, and Paul Fore.

In D flight Jim Hammond won with +6 and there was a tie for second place at -3 between David Mulligan and Gary Galle.

E flight was won by Johnny McEachren at +4 and Gordon Hamilton was second with Even points.

F flight was won by Bryan Outinen at Even points and Shorty Crocker took second place at -1.

G flight fell to Billy Parr at +9 (great round, Billy!) and Jan Nigh was second with -1.

H flight's first place went to Mike Murphy at +5 and Bob Hughes was second at +3.

I flight was won by John Robertson at +6 and Roger Sewell was second with +2.

J flight saw Noris Ellison win with +6 and Jim Daigneault in second place with +1.

K flight had Jack Carlton in first place with +5 and Boots Callahan in second place with +3.

L flight saw Karl Mellor win with +3 and Ralph Pickering come in second with +1.

M flight had a 3-way tie for first place at +6 between Sam Spade, Pete Mezza, and Lee Mullens

Next Monday the Mezza group will continue to play at Golf Hammock CC, (not a scramble) teeing off at 7:45 a.m. Please arrive by 7:30 due to a large group of players. We welcome all levels of golfers. In C flight we had a tie for first place at +1 between Jim Hammond and Paul Doud.

D flight (5 players) was won by Jerry Keiser at -1, Terry Yandle was second with -4, and Jack Schell was third at -6.

E flight was won by David Mulligan with a +7 and Danny Geier was in second place with +2.

F flight's first place went to Dave Hankinson at -1 and Joe Hyzny was second at -3.

G flight saw Bob Troup win with -2 and Bob Hughes come in second at -3.

In H flight Mike Murphy was first with +3 and Ken Porter was second with -2.

I flight had Greg Brewer win with a +8 and Jack Carlton was second at -3.

J flight was won by Roger Sewell at +6 and Jim Daigneault was second with +5.

K flight was won by Pete Mezza at Even points and Lee Mullins came in second with -1.

Last Monday the Mezza group played at Golf Hammock CC.

In A flight (5 players) Paul Doud won with +2 and Dennis Murphy was second with Even points and there was a tie for third place at -2 between Paul (Taffy) Brown and Jerry Keiser.

B flight (4 players) had Fred Homrich in first place at +6 and Terry Yandle in second place with +4.

In C flight (4 players) Dave Hankinson won with-1 and Doug Haire was second with -3.

D flight (4 players) had a tie for first place at +3 between Jan Nigh and Joe Hyzny.

E flight (4 players) saw Ken Porter win with +1 and Ralph Pickering come in second at -1.

F flight (4 players) was won by Boots Callahan at +4 and Mel Davis was in second place at +2.

Last Monday the Mezza group played a scramble at Golf Hammock CC.

The results are:

Winning group:
Steve Welsh, Pete Mezza, Jerry Keiser, and Joe Hyzny who shot a combined 63.

Second place (Due to a tie breaker):
Mike Anselm, Greg Brewer, Johnny McEachren, and John Millerick who also shot a combined 63.

Third place:
Jim Gulick, Bob Colandrea, Taffy Brown, and Sam Spade who shot a combined 64.

Fourth place (4-way tie at 65):
Ike Richards, Mel Davis, Paul Doud, and Doug Haire.
