Last Monday the Mezza group played individual golf at Golf Hammock CC using Pro-Am points.

Mike Lajiness was in first place with plus 1 in A group and Les Campbell in second place with minus 2.

In B group first place was Fred Latshaw with plus 6 and Kendall Griffin in second place with minus 5.

Doug Haire scored plus 7 to in first place in C group with Curt Matterson in second place with minus 1 and Pat Dell was even for third place.

Tony Frances made plus 2 in D group to take first place and David Mulligan was at plus 1 for second place.

E group first place was Dick Botelho who had a plus 3 and Bob Hughes in second place with plus 1.

Roger Poulin scored plus 4 for first place, in second place was Janet Regan with plus 1 and Gerry Geouque in third place at even.

Bob Morrison in first place in G group with plus 1 and in second place Bob Colandrea was at even and a tie for third place at minus 2 between Jim Reed and Greg Brewer.

In H group it was Don Mietz in first place with plus 2 and Pete Mezza in
second place with plus 1.

Tom Nelligan scored plus 8 to take the lead in I group and Trudy Perkins
was plus 1 for second place.

In first place Jim Gulick scored plus 9 in A group and a tie in second place between
Mike Anselm and Denis Shank at plus 7.

Johnnie McEachren shot a plus 4 for first place in B group and Doug Haire in second place with plus 3.

Joe Hyzny shot a plus 9 in C group for first place and a tie in second place between Shorty Crocker and Bobby Culbert at plus 2.


D group saw Curt Matterson with a score of plus 5 for first place and Paul Brown in second place with plus 2.

E group first place was Tony Frances at plus 5 and Terry Yandle with plus 4
for second place.

Janet Regan shot a plus 2 for first place in F group,while Dick Botelho was
even in second place.

There was a tie for first place in G group between Jerry Linsley and Jim Reed with plus 4
and Bill Glenn in third place with plus 3.

Bob Morrison scored plus 7 that was good for first place in H group and Jerry Patterson with plus 4 in second place.

Joe Martini scored a plus 2 for first place in A group while Denis Shank had a minus 2 for second place.

Paul Brown had a plus 3 to take first place in C group and a tie for second place between Joe Hyzny and Ken Spencer at minus 1.

Bob Hughes scored a plus 1 in D group and Dick Botelho was even for second place.

Bob Colandrea took the lead in E group with plus 2 and Jim Reed was at plus 1 for second place.

Jerry Linsley scored an amazing plus 8 in F group for first place Jerry Patterson in second place with plus 2 while Jean Terrell was at minus 2 for third place.

Ron Geouque continues to score well with a plus 5 for first place in G group and in second place Karl Mellor in second place with plus 4.

There was a very happy get together with free lunch and refreshment for our summer league players.

Lee Stark made even for first place in C group while Pete Mezza and
Bob Colandrea tied for second at minus 3.

While on vacation in Battle Creek,MI Pete Mezza had an eagle on the 318 yard par four. Pete was playing with former member Fred Lewis,Jeff Lewis and Lloyd Lack at Binder Park Municipal golf course.

B Group - Another tie: Sal Sboto and Bob Colandrea at +5, Second Place was taken by Lee Stark at +3, and Third Place was won by Larry Spry with a +2.

GROUP A: Jim Gulik took first place with a Plus 1, Doug Haire took 2nd with Minus 2, and Joe Martini took 3rd with Minus 3.

GROUP B: David Mulligan was 1st with Plus 4, Capt Billy Parr came in 2nd with Plus 2.

GROUP C: Sal Sboto was 1st with Plus 3, Larry Holzworth came in 2nd with Plus 1.

GROUP D: In 1st place we find Bob Hughes with a Plus 4, Ed Northrup's Plus 3 took 2nd place.

GROUP E: Bob Colandrea easily took 1st place with a Plus 3, followed by Larry Spry in 2nd playing Even for the day.

Mezza Group results for 5-9-2011

The Mezza Group played at Golf Hammock on May 9th, Monday, with the following results:

Group A - 1st Place: Joe Hyzny (Even), 2nd Place: Pat Dell (-1)
Group B - 1st Place: Larry Lamparski (+3), 2nd Place: Doug Haire (+1)
Group C - 1st Place: Bob Hughes (+8), 2nd Place: Terry Yandle (Even)
Group D - 1st Place: Lee Stark (+6), 2nd Place: Karl Mellor (+4)

The Mezza Group will play next Monday, May 16, at Golf Hammock at 8:00AM. Please arrive early for registration.

Golf Hammock Results for 5-9-2011

Group A - First place went to Joe Hyzny who was Even. In second place, Pat Dell at -1.

Group B - First Place went to Larry Lamparski at plus 3. Second Place went to Doug Haire at Plus 1.

Group C - First Place was taken by Bob Hughes with a Plus 8, Terry Yandle took Second with an Even score.

Group D - Lee Stark took First Place with a Plus 6, Karl Mellor got Second Place with a Plus 4.

The Mezza Group will play again Monday, May 16, at 8:00 AM.

Golf results for Monday, 5-2-2011

Last Monday the Mezza group played individual Pro-Am points at Golf Hammock CC.

Denis Shank made plus 3 to take first place and Chip Curcio and Jim Gulick tied for second at plus in A group.

There was a tie for first place between Joe Hyzny and Paul Brown with a plus 4 in B Group.

Bob Topel shot a plus 5 to take first place in C group while Shorty Crocker had a minus 1 for second place.

Gerry Geouque took first place with a plus 5 in D group
and Larry Holzworth made a plus 4 for second place.

Birthday man Pete Mezza shot an 86 just 3 points over his age. Mezza came in with a plus 6 for first place in E group, Frank Branca had plus 4 good for second place and John Tyner had plus 3 for third place. (Happy Birthday, Pete!)

Next Monday the Mezza group will again have a shotgun start at Golf Hammock CC beginning at 8 a.m...

Last Monday the Mezza group played individual Pro-Am golf at the Golf Hammock CC...

Denis Shank shot a 71 and made plus 10 to take first place in A group and Joe Martini with a plus 2 for second place and Chuck ford had a minus 1 good for third place. Pat Dell had a plus 7 and tied with Billy Parr for first place in B group. Larry Lamparski had a plus 3 good for first place in C group and Janet Regan in second place with a plus 2. Paul Brown had a spectacular day with a plus 10 for first place in D group while Bob Hughes had a plus 2 for second place. Lee Stark made plus 5 for first place in E group and Larry Holzworth made plus 3 for second place. Frank Branca came alive with a plus 4 to take first place in F group and John Tyner made plus 2 for second place.

Next week there will be a shotgun start beginning at 8 a.m. at Golf Hammock CC.

Last Monday the Mezza group played individual pro-am golf at Golf  Hammock CC.
Taking first place in A group was Jim Gulick with plus 3 and Mike Anselm in second place with
plus 2.Joe Martini had plus 4 to take first place in B group while Bobby Culbert in
second place with minus 2.Doug Haire took first place with a plus 4 in C group and David
Mulligan with plus 1 for second place. There was a tie for first place in D group between Bill Alesi and Janet Regan at plus 4 .There was also a tie in E group for first place at plus 3 between
Bob Hughes and Terry Embleton. In F group Dick Botelho made plus 6 for first place and a tie for second place between Terry Yandle and Lee Stark with plus 3.Jim Reed had a great  score with a plus 8 for first place and second place with plus 4 went to Joe O'Block in G group. Les Layton made plus 7 to take first place in H group and second place went to Jean Terrell with a  plus 5.
There was a tie in I group for first place between Don Tiemans and Frank Branca with a score of plus 3...
