Last Monday the Mezza group played individual Pro-Am points at Golf Hammock CC.

Ike Richards scored plus 4 to take first place in A group and Larz Bylund came in second with plus 2.

In B group Roger Culberson shot a remarkable 79 and plus 11 was in first place and there was a tie for second place between Joe Martini and Johnny McEahren.

There was a tie in C group for first place between Gary Galle and Joe Hyzny at plus 6.

Pat Dell came in first place in D group with a plus 3 and Ken Granger came in second place with plus 1.

Dick Botelho shot a plus 6 to take first place in E group and John Robetson came in second place with plus 4.

In F group Joe Hamilton came in first place with plus 4 and a tie for second place between Bob Wimmers and Karl Mellor at plus 3.

Bob Hughes had a plus 6 for first place in G group and Jack Carlton in second place with plus 4.

Ralph Pickering came in first place with plus 6 in H group and in second place was Jim Reed with plus 5.

In I group Greg Brewer scored plus 7 for first place and a tie for second place between Bill Alesi and Bob Goldsworthy at plus 6.

Last Monday the Mezza group played golf using Individual Pro-Am points at Golf Hammock Country Club.

There was a tie in A group for first place between Don Brewer and Ike Richards at plus 3.

Jim Gulick scored plus 7 for first place in B group and in second place Les Campbell scored plus 2.

In C group there was a three way tie for first place between Paul Brown II, Roger Culberson and Gary Galle at plus 3.

Pat Dell was even that was good for first place in D group and in second place was Norm Hankinson at minus 1.

Dave Hankinson scored plus 8 to take the lead in E group and in second place was Ken Granger at plus 4.

In F group Curt Matterson came in first place with plus 2 and Bob Wimmers came in second with plus 1.

Jerry Hodges was even that was good for first place in G group and a four way tie for second place between Bob Hughes, Don Meitz, Bob Morrison and Bob Colandrea all with minus 2.

Pete Mezza scored plus 2 to take first place in H group and a tie for second place between Bob Fidlin and Billy Ringo at plus 1.

Karl Mellor scored big making plus 8 for first place in I group and Ozzie Bergroth came in second with plus 4.

Frank Branca shot a plus 5 to take the lead in J group with plus 5 and a tie for second place between Bill Woudenberg and Les Layton.

David Mulligan came in first place in D group with a plus 2 and Rick Cloverhouse in second place at plus 1.

Stan Griffis scored plus 3 that was good for first place in E group and Billy Parr came in second at plus 1.

In F group John Robertson came in first place with plus 2 and in second place was Doug Haire at even.

Dave Hankinson scored plus 5 for first place in G group and Bob Wimmers came in second place at plus 1.

There was a tie for first place in H group between Jerry Hodges and Bob Hughes at plus 1.

Tony Frances shot a plus 3 to take first place in I group and a tie
for second place between Bob Morrison and Bob Colandrea at plus 1.

Jack Carlton came out on top with plus 2 in J group and a three way tie for second place between Bill Katcher, Janet Regan, and Jim McFetride at minus 1.

Billy Ringo had a plus 8 that was good for first place in K group and Dick Lindsay in second place with plus 2.

In B group Fred Latshaw had a plus 6 that was good for first place and Paul Brown II came in second with plus 3.

Mike Anselm came in first place in C group with plus 7 and David Mulligan came in second with plus 1.

Shorty Crocker came in first place with plus 1 in D group and Ken Granger was at even for second place.

In E group Terry Yandle came in first place with plus 5 and in second place was Bobby Culbert with plus 4.

Billy Parr scored plus 2 that was good for first place in F group and at even was Dennis Berard in second place.

In G group John Robertson came in first place with plus 5 and at plus 3 was Delbert Nelson for second place.

In H group Jerry Hodges was even that was good for first place and there was a three way tie for second place between Pete Mezza, Bob Morrison and Ralph Pickering at minus 4.

Fred Latshaw had plus 8 that was good for first place in C group and Joe Hyzny came in second with plus 4 and third place was David Mulligan with plus 1.

In D group Jim Hammond came in first with plus 7 and Terry Yandle in second place at even.

In B Group there was also a tie between David Mulligan and Rick Cloverhouse at minus 1.

In C group Billy Parr came in first place with plus 6 and a tie for second place between Jack Stafford and Tony Frances at plus 3. <i>Welcome back, Tony!</i>


In D group Ralph Pickering scored plus 1 that was good for first place and Earl Bittaker in second place with minus 1.


Jerry Patterson came in first place in E group with plus 5 and Karl Mellor came in second place with plus 3.

Closet to the pin for the A and B players was David Mulligan and the winner in the C and D players was Sal Sboto.

In E group new comer Dennis Berard came in first with plus 8 and Larry Spry came in second place with plus 5.

*85 year old Pete Mezza scored 4 over par of 76. To say he is excited is an understatement. He was in a foursome with David Mulligan,Sal Sbodo and Karl Mellor. Congratulations, Pete!

Last Monday June 24th, the Mezza played individual Pro-Am points at Golf Hammock Country Club.

Gary Galle was even to take first place in A group and Les Campbell came in second at minus 2.

In B group Mike Ansell bested Jim Gulick plus 7 to plus 6 for first place in B group and Jim Gulick came in second.

David Mulligan scored plus 5 to take first place in C group and Pat Dell came in second place at plus 1.

Earl Bittaker scored plus 1 to take first place in D group and Ken Porter was in second place at minus 1.

Sal Sboto had an excellent game scoring plus 9 for first place in E group with Ralph Pickering scoring plus 3 for second place.

Larry Spry continues to play well scoring plus 6 for first place in F group and Jerry Patterson was minus 1 for second place.

Last Monday the Mezza group held it's annual banquet at Homer's with more than
75 in attendance.  There was many cash prizes and green fees from Golf Hammock CC
for which we are grateful for.

Danny Geier won the closet to the pin on number 17 for A  and B group.

Terry Yandle made his first hole in one on the number 7 ,124 yard hole using a pitching wedge. His foursome included Paul Brown II,Bob Hughes and Jean Terrell. Terry has been playing for about 6 years and he also had 2 eagles on Monday.
